Jack Mitchell (Johnny Marr)
Jack Mitchell began his professional career with Mark Coyle´s (Oasis producer) band Tailgunner. Although Noel Gallagher played drums on the Tailgunner album Jack was Mark Coyle´s choice to play the songs live.
Jack then joined UK indie band Haven in 2001. Haven enjoyed success both in the UK and worldwide recording two albums, notching up two UK top 20 hits, and touring the world extensively. Jack has played all the major music festivals including Fuji Rock in Japan, Glastonbury in UK and Benicassim in Spain.
He has since played with Bernard Sumner (New Order) and Alex James (Blur) in the group Bad Lieutenant, playing on the album ´never cry another tear´. Jack has also played with 90´s Britpop band Marion, recording and releasing the album ´Alive in Manchester´ in 2012.
Jack is currently playing with Johnny Marr, having just played on Johnny´s new solo album ´The Messenger´ which is released in February 2013 Jack will also be going out as Johnny Marr´s live drummer.
Jack has recorded at some of the UK´s top studios including Rak, Heliocentric and Abbey Road and has appeared and played on several TV shows including Top Of The Pops, the Pepsi chart show and T4 on Sunday.
