Accy is from Horsham in Sussex and if you don’t count banging pots and pans with wooden spoons has been playing the drums since the age of 10. After leaving college in 1990 he secured his first tour with a new incarnation of the band “The Enid” and gained great experience from living at their residential recording studio for a year. 

In 1991 he then went freelance playing in, and for many bands and artists, residencies, house bands and theatre shows. In 2000 he made “the move” to London to further his career and this saw the start of working regularly in the West End which he still does to this day. He is currently playing in the “Thriller Live” band in the West End and is drummer for Jeff Wayne’s ‘The War of the Worlds” 

Accy´s career as a freelance drummer has enabled him to perform or record with a wide range of artists including: Sir Elton John, George Michael, Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Heather Small (M People), Beverley Knight, Mick Jones (The Clash), David Essex, Lulu, Morcheeba, Five!, The Supremes, Denise Pearson, Tony Christie, Mike Lindup (Level 42), Mike Mondesir (Billy Cobham), Marc Almond, M, Jimmy Somerville, Daniel Pearce (X Factor), Anthony Costa (Five!), Scott Robinson (Five!), Zoe Birkett (Pop Idol), Hayley Evetts (Pop Idol), Alistair Griffin (Fame Academy), Susan Boyle, Bucks Fizz, Jane McDonald, Alvin Stardust, Modern Romance, Joe Longthorne, The Drifters, The Enid, Stefan Redtenbacher´s Funkestra, Keith Allen, Tenors Unlimited, Zoot and the Roots, and Producer Elliot Kennedy (Take That, Spice Girls, 911, Boyzone, Bryan Adams, Mel C & Gary Barlow) 

Theatre credits include: Thriller Live (West End), Mamma Mia (West End), A Chorus Line (West End), Bodyguard (West End)Fame (West End), Grease (West End), Million Dollar Quartet (West End), Pricilla Queen of the Desert (West End) Dancing in the Streets (West End), Never Forget (West End), They Shoot Horses Don’t They (West End), I Dreamed A Dream (UK Tour), Blood Brothers (UK Tour), Dancing in the Streets (UK/European Tour), Thriller Live (UK/European/World Tours), Godspell (UK Tour), Little Shop of Horrors (UK Tour),Boogie Nights (UK Tour), Boogie Nights 2 (UK Tour), Strictly Ballroom Dancing (UK Tour), Simply Ballroom Dancing (UK Tour), Hold Tight It´s 60´s Nite (UK Tour), The History of Motown (UK Tour) and The Magic of Motown (UK Tour). 

Programing credits include: V-Drum programming for "Thriller Live" V-Drum programming for Jeff Wayne´s "The War of The Worlds" 2006 Roland SPD-S Sampling & Programming for all productions of "Thriller Live". Other credits include Film Soundtracks, TV Themes, Jingles, Backing Tracks and numerous TV and Radio performances. Alongside his many playing commitments he also finds time to teach privately as well as running a studio producing custom drum and percussion tracks online.
