Team Protection Racket’s Ivor Novello award winning music producer, song writer & drummer Cassell The Beatmaker has launched ‘In The Making’, an artist development scheme designed to help unsigned musicians take control of their career.
Cassell and his experienced team will be offering support and guidance on all aspects of the music industry designed to further develop the prospects and career of the artist whilst guiding them to greater success.
The ITM scheme includes song writing sessions, music production, recordings, branding, image consultancy, social media management, promotional videos and funding campaigns.
Two artists who have already benefited from ITM are Deacon and Josh Barry. Both artists are part of the scheme and recently entered an emerging talent competition hosted by Glastonbury Festival. Out of 5,000 entrants, both artists reached the final of nine acts, with Josh Barry declared the winner by a panel of judges, going on to receive a cheque of £5,000 as well as receiving a slot on one of Glastonbury's main stages this coming June.

Anastacia 's live album, "A4App" is OUT NOW! - featuring Protection Racket endorsee, Steve Barney on drums
Steve says: "Playing live has always felt like "home" & Protection Racket cases are an essential part of transporting my drums from city to city/country to country. I'm super proud to have contributed to Anastacia's 2016 tour & this live album"
Barney's tour essentials:
• Protection Racket drum cases
• Protection Racket deluxe jumbo stick case
• Protection Racket cabin trolley case
• Protection Racket AAA 80 ltr suitcase
• Protection Racket wash bag
Recorded during 2016 's 'Ultimate Collection Tour' - the album features songs fans voted for at each show (via the Anastacia app) giving them an opportunity to choose from an alternative list of songs - album tracks, B sides & rarities (many of which "A" had never performed live before).
While the tour set list was predominantly a "Greatest Hits" celebration, the songs on this album reflect a special part of the show & direct connection with her audience.
